SUMMARY
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Truss Labourers. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, stacking, and operating machinery to produce high-quality trusses and components for our production line. You will play an essential part in ensuring that trusses meet precise specifications and are assembled and handled efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and follow shop drawings to determine truss dimensions and connector plate locations.
- Assist in setting, jigging, and securing trusses, ensuring tight joints and proper assembly.
- Affix connector plates to trusses, ensuring compliance with size and type specifications.
- Stack, band, and mark trusses, ensuring accuracy in job numbers and quantities.
- Perform visual checks to ensure correct placement of connector plates and report any discrepancies.
- Operate machinery safely, calibrating and maintaining equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, reporting unsafe conditions promptly.
- Adhere to Health and Safety and Quality standards in all tasks.

- Attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and identify any discrepancies in trusses and connector plates.
- Previous experience in construction, assembly, or manufacturing is an asset.
